After a few years away from WEBSF tournaments, Tavistock potter, Andy Symons coms back to win event 1 of this seasons Gold Waistcoat Tour.

An evening with Sam Baird

Playe Profile Sam BairdColyton Memorial Social Club is hosting a snooker evening where players will be invited to take on local professional Sam Baird. This is to celebrate the re-opening of the newly refurbished snooker room in the club. A couple of club members gave many hours of their time, for free, to carry out the work and the results are a vast improvement.

There will be a raffle on the night for snooker related prizes, at least one of them will given the opportunity to play Sam. Tickets will be on sale shortly, available to club members and non-club members alike. For more information select Exhibition Poster.

Welsh snooker ace Callum Lloyd is the 2014 West of England Bronze Waistcoat Open Snooker Champion, who will be champion this year?

The Bronze Waistcoat Open Snooker Championship age limit has been reduced to those that were under 16 on the 31st December 2014. To put it another way if you are 16 now but you were born after 31st December 1998 you are still eligible to enter. This year the tournament will be completed in a single day.

September:

The Bronze Waistcoat Open Championship. This season the age limit has been reduced to those youngsters that were under 16 on the 31st December 2014 and the tournament will be completed in a day. Thanks to Jesters Snooker Hall, Swindon Who will be hosting the event.

The start of the 2015/16 Gold Waistcoat Tour.  This season sees a re-vamp of the ranking points system that should see more players in the running for the overall title. Furthermore the top 16 ranked players at the end of the season will be invited to play in a Gold Masters with £1000 prize money thanks to sponsor M.J.H. Devon Paving Ltd..
