Help us shape the 2019/20 season
Apart from coaching sessions, which carry on all year round, all the WEBSF tournaments and events for the 2018-19 season have now been completed. Well done to the winners and commiserations to the rest.
Thanks to everyone, especially the Volunteers, the Sponsors (Totally Reward) and the Venues (Jesters, Top Q, 147 Club, Galaxy TQ, Frames Snooker & Pool and Exeter Snooker Club). All have given much and asked for little in return.
For the Management Team there is still work to be done. The WEBSF Annual Draw takes place on the 1st June, with a top prize of a Hand Made cue & Case with extensions etc. (valued at over £240). Generously donated by cue maker Tony Reed, Plymouth. Tickets are still available from any of our Management Team.
We also have a couple of meetings looking back at the past season, at what went well and what we might need to work on to help us plan for next season and move the foundation forward. If you have any ideas, suggestions or want to know more about becoming a WEBSF Volunteer, please contact us.

Brookshaw Wins UK Open Challenge Cup
Master Cueman Steve Brookshaw shrugged off some below par results of late to work his way through the field and win the English Billiards, UK Open Challenge Cup at the Northern Snooker Centre, Leeds

Before the commencement of the WEBSF Gold Masters at Frames Snooker & Pool Club, Weston-Super-Mare. Alan Tunney, the overall winner of the WEBSF Gold Series, was presented with the Gold Series trophy by Silvia Mondello of Totally Reward (Gold Series and Gold Masters sponsor).
Women’s Snooker on the Rise
A fantastic day of snooker at the Exeter Snooker Club came to a conclusion with Traci Wannell being crowned champion. During the event the WEBSF also announced that they are “working on ideas to raise the profile of the female game and increase participation by running further tournaments.” Go to Ladies Snooker for a full report.
Tunney Takes Top Title
Alan Tunney from Torquay is the 2018-19 Overall WEBSF Gold Series Champion. To see how he did it go to the Gold Snooker Series 2018/19. A presentation will take place at Frames Snooker & Pool Club, Weston-Super-Mare on the 6th April 2019 following the conclusion of the Gold Masters. Andy Symons wins the final event but just misses on the big prize to Alan Tunney. Youth players leave their mark and the top sixteen players are lined up to compete in the Gold Masters.
