After a great season of WEBSF tournament wins Haydon Pinhey has extended his lead at the top of the WEBSF prize money list and in doing so has raised the bar yet again for the most prize money won in a single season. Other players that have improved their position this season include; Dan Legassick, up to fourth place; Mitch Grinsted, up to fifth and Dale Branton, up to seventh place. An even bigger climber is Eddie Manning who moved up twenty places to eighth position in only his second WEBSF season. Andy Symons and Steve Brookshaw have also prospered and have joined the £1000 plus club.
The total amount of prize money made available by the WEBSF since September 2014 is £43,834. 95% of the entry fees taken has been awarded as prize money. The WEBSF Management Team have achieved this high return through dedicated volunteers (Tournament Directors, Helpers, Referee’s) and the generosity of sponsors. This season we thank the following sponsors: M.J.H. Paving Ltd., Galaxy Centre, Torquay, Jesters, and 147 Snooker Club, Swindon, The Plaza Snooker & Pool Club, Plymouth and Top Q Snooker Club, Gloucester. All clubs have provided their facilities free of charge!

Haydon Pinhey the Gold Waistcoat Tour Champion 2016 is also the Gold Waistcoat Masters Champion 2016. A fantastic achievement that will take some matching. One man that could, is the prolific break builder Eddie Manning, Eddie came a very close second to Haydon in both the Gold Waistcoat Tour and Gold Waistcoat Masters this season. If he can find the time to enter enough tour events next season, whilst also attending Professional Tour events, he has got to be one of the favourites.
Thanks to Matt Hulatt of M.J.H. Paving for sponsoring the event and Galaxy Centre for playing hosts.

Congratulations to Ian Preece from Newport, Wales who came through Q-School to earn a two year place on the Professional Tour. One of the aims of the WEBSF is to recognize excellence and achievement, to this end the WEBSF awards Ian Life Membership of the WEBSF.
Also worth a mention is Eddie Manning who also did incredibly well and just fell short of the mark. Hopefully he will get invited to some of the professional qualifiers, providing he is not on Gold Waistcoat duties, of course…
Tough luck for the following WEBSF Members, past and present, who did not make it this time: Haydon Pinhey, Tyler Rees, Harvey Chandler, Callum Lloyd, Ben Harrison, Peter Devlin, Paul Norris and Stuart Watson.
