Jason Whittaker
Jason Whittaker was a professional in the eighties and nineties. His best runs came in the Dubai Classic where he reached the last 16 and the last 24 in the Canadian Open in 1990. He also reached the last 64 in the World Championships in 1992.
The past couple of seasons Jason has tried his hand at WEBSF events and he does very well for someone that has returned to tournament play after such a long layoff. This past season he reached the quarters in the two Gold Series events that he played and the semi’s on the Gold Masters. Clearly Jason is a player that knows his craft, with more time to practice and play in the WEBSF events he would certainly be in the mix for the overall Gold Series title. However, being a family man that takes priority.
