West of England Snooker Open Plate Finalist 2017 – Martin Pitcher & Chris Coumbe

Martin is a regular on the WEBSF Gold Series tour where he is currently ranked 10th. With only two events to go he is a good bet to be among the top sixteen players that will be invited to compete in the WEBSF Gold Masters on the 26th May at Jesters, Swindon.

Martin is fairly relaxed around the table and strokes the cue ball with consummate efficiency. These well-practiced skills coupled with a great attitude and placid temperament makes him a tough opponent, especially when he is on his game. Win or lose he maintains a great sense of humor….something we could all benefit from given how difficult and frustrating this game can be!

Martin recently played in the Gibraltar Open, last season he reached the last 128 before going out to Luca Brecel. This year he had another good run, making it through to the last 149 (round 3) before losing out to Matthew Glasby. All the while Martin proudly wore the WEBSF logo and took time to provide regular updates of how he and the other WEBSF players where fairing, for our twitter feed.
