Connor Benzey played solid snooker all day on his way to lifting the 2017 WEBSF Bronze Snooker Open title.
To make a complete day of Billiards & Snooker the WEBSF held Coaching Workshops where WEBSF Coaches and special guests; ex-Professional, Manager & Coach Hassan Vaizie and Snooker Professional Sam Baird gave masterclasses in break building and coaching clinics.

Some people think that the WEBSF require players to wear a waistcoat at WEBSF tournaments. This has not been the case for a few years. The current WEBSF Dress Code is:-
Smart dark trousers/skirt and dark shoes. A choice of either a waistcoat with a single colour, collared shirt/blouse. (bow tie or tie optional) OR a single colour, collared polo shirt. Shirts/Blouses must be tucked in at all times. (Strictly no jeans or trainers permitted)
There you have it!….another good reason to enter WEBSF tournaments and have a full day of, value for money, Billiards or Snooker in a safe and friendly environment.
Note: if you want to turn the heads of potential sponsors and you aspire to reaching the World Championships one day, you’d do well to get use to wearing a waistcoat….just a thought! 😉

The WEBSF in conjunction with Jesters Snooker Hall and Totally Reward are running an Under 17’s Snooker tournament and an Open Coaching Workshop on the 18th November 2017 between 9.00am and 6.00pm.
The youth snooker tournament will provide a full day of snooker for just £10 entry and every player that enters will leave with a prize!
Running alongside the tournament and open to anyone, no matter what age or standard, will be a Billiards & Snooker Workshop. A current Professional Snooker Player and a former Professional Snooker Player and Coach will be on hand to meet & greet and share their knowledge & experience as well as play a play a few frames. In addition to the professionals the WEBSF will have their dedicated team of Qualified Coaches volunteering their time.
So that the tournament players don’t miss out on the fun, there should be ample opportunity dip in and out of the workshop between matches.
There are no catches and no hidden fees, all coaching and advice comes FREE OF CHARGE and is open to anyone to attend.

This season, in addition to our regular coaching sessions held in Plymouth, we are running two Billiards & Snooker Coaching Workshop events.
These events are open for ANYONE to attend and the WEBSF Coaches will be providing their services for FREE!
We will be catering for all age groups and abilities, if you do not have a cue, don’t let that stop you coming along as we will find one for you to borrow for the session.
