Gold Waistcoat Tour Event 3 – Result

Harvey Chandler wins event 3 but Kurtis Weaver tops the ranking with three events to go.

Bronze Waistcoat – Plymouth Town Tour

The Plymouth Bronze Waistcoat ran from 2004 until 2010 and was sponsored by the following Plymouth snooker clubs: Riley’s, Victoria Snooker Centre, The Plaza and Plymouth Snooker Club. WEBSF Officials Wayne & Debora Branton, Darren Hall, Steve Brookshaw, Keith Millard & Roger Cole generously gave their time and enthusiasm to develop grass roots snooker in the Plymouth area.
Each season the top four players qualified for the Regional Finals Day where they pitted their skills against qualifiers from the Redruth, Exeter & Falmouth Tours (posted previously).
Dan Legassick was the last Plymouth Bronze Champion. Take a look back over the years and pick out a few familiar faces that have played and, in some cases, still playing. You will have to admit they did look smart in their waistcoats….shame they had to grow up! :). Click here.
Pinhey still tops the Money Stakes

Haydon Pinhey still holds on to the top spot in the overall Money Rankings despite under par performances, by his standards, since winning the 2014 West of England Open.
Over 90% of the entry fees taken being given out as prize money. The WEBSF Management Team have achieved this through the provision of volunteer Tournament Directors and Helpers, Referee’s and the generosity of Snooker Clubs who have provided their facilities free of charge!

Bronze Waistcoat – Redruth Town Tour

The Redruth Bronze Waistcoat was run from 2004 until 2010 in the Redruth Royal British Legion Club. WEBSF Coaches Paul Williams and Vic Wills generously gave their time and enthusiasm to help develop youth snooker in Cornwall.
Each season the top four players qualified for the Regional Finals Day where they pit their skills against qualifiers from the Plymouth, Exeter & Falmouth Tours (posted previously).

Bronze Waistcoat – Falmouth Town Tour

The Falmouth Bronze Waistcoat was run from 2008 until 2010 in Bells Court Snooker Club, Falmouth. Club proprietor and consummate Snooker player Paul Williams generously hosted and sponsored the events, giving many youngsters encouragement.
Each season the top four players qualified for the Regional Finals Day where they pit their skills against qualifiers from the Plymouth & Redruth Tours (to be posted in the coming weeks).

Bronze Waistcoat – Exeter Town Tour

The Exeter Bronze Waistcoat Town Tour was run from 2004 until 2010 in Sidwell Snooker and GWRSA Social Club’s, Exeter. Staunch supporters/sponsors were; Bill Whelan (Sidwell), Mel Berry (GWRSA) and Pete James (Baulkline Snooker South West).
Each season the top four players qualified for the Regional Finals Day where they pit their skills against qualifiers from the Plymouth, Redruth & Falmouth Town Tours (to be posted in the coming weeks).
Michael Rogers was the last Exeter Champion. Michael realised his promise and has gone on to win both Silver and Gold events. He is currently at University after which we hope to see him back on the Snooker scene once he has completed his education.
