COACH REACHES LAST 16
Steve Brookshaw (Plymouth) Billiards and Snooker Coach has reach the last 16 in the English Amateur Billiards Championship. Brookshaw qualified from the South Area. Brookshaw will attempt to finish the job in Derby. All at the WEBSF wish him well.

Update: Steve came up against an in-form Martin Goodwill in his first match…..there’s always next year!

WATSON STRETCHES THE PACK
Daniel Watson opened up a small but telling lead by winning event 2 in the Falmouth Bronze Waistcoat series, Watson beat Adam Lawson in the final. 24 players turned up to play in the tournament at Bells Court Snooker Club, Falmouth. BOND, VINCENT & COLE THE ‘BUSINESS’
Darren Bond (Tiverton) Kris Vincent (Plymouth) and Grant Cole (Plymouth) all do well in Event 2 of the Busnessland Under 21 series at Pontins. Bond Beat Vincent 3-0 in the Semi final before losing out to Stephen Craigie 3-1 in the final. Grant Cole top the weekend with a win in the Plate 2(56)-0 against Kristof Vermeiren.

GALLEN BEATS RIVAL
Adam Gallen beat Will Blackmore in event 5 of the Exeter Bronze Waistcoat. For further details and report go to Exeter Bronze Waistcoat.

WEBB WINS BRONZE IN FALMOUTH
Bells Court Snooker Club, Falmouth hosted the first in the Falmouth series of WEBSF Bronze Waistcoat Tournaments on Sunday 10th February 2008. This is the latest club to join clubs in Plymouth, Exeter & Redruth who also host Bronze Waistcoat Tournaments in an effort to find the best under 16 snooker player in the West of England. Jake Webb came through a 20 strong field to claim victory and lead the ranking table. Full details and report go to Bronze Waistcoat.
